Meat & Seafood shipping disclaimer
We hand select each order to ensure your product(s) are received in prime condition. Each package is shipped in an insulated container with frozen ice packs to maintain the appropriate temperature of your product(s). All perishable products ship frozen and will arrive frozen, partially thawed or chilled.
It takes 24 hours to receive and process an order. Due to the perishable nature of our product(s) we ship most orders FedEx 2-day air; shipping Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Orders placed after 12 pm CST Wednesday will ship the following Monday. During December and other peak periods, we may require additional days to process and deliver your order and will inform you of any unusual delays. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Orders being shipped to select areas in MN, WI, ND, SD, and IA will be shipped FedEx ground. Shipments to some parts of Alaska may require FedEx overnight services in which an additional fee may be required. If your order cannot be shipped as requested you will be notified by customer service.
Lunds & Byerlys will not assume responsibility for any incorrect addresses provided to us; delivery, return and re-delivery charges will apply. We strongly recommend that when ordering perishable items, you confirm that the recipient or other responsible party will be available to receive, open and properly store your order. We are unable to replace products that perish due to recipients being unavailable at the time of delivery. Please note that our boxes are clearly marked perishable on the outside and we are not responsible for items received but not opened.
